Librarians
Here are all of our Active Librarians
Want to become a Librarian? (Apply)
- Do you know about a lot of bands that aren't already listed?
- Are you attentive to detail, can write decently in English, and have some spare time?
- Do you have a burning desire to spread the word about the metal underground?
- Do you have Firefox, Internet Explorer 6, Safari, Opera 8, or another modern web browser?
- Do you like filling in forms on websites? (just kidding, everybody hates that, but you'd have to do it)
If you answered 'Yes' to all of those questions (or most of them), then we want you, you should Apply.
Your application will be reviewed by one of the administrators and you will receive an email indicating whether or not we have accepted you.
Note: If you used to be a Librarian, but lost contact and would like to come back, you should be able to still log in. If not, then you should Contact Me and I'll get you set up. We'd love to have you back.
Backlash (Marcos Gonzalez)

Although I have lived in Australia for more than 10 years now, I was born in Cuba in 1971, where I grew up listening to any music I could get my hands on, not only metal but hard rock, symphonic, heavy, power, thrash, doom, etc. Eventually, I found out that I enjoyed more bands that were either unique in style or very technical, and got into all kinds of prog and technical music.
Working on this site has allowed me to share some of those bands with the rest of the world and, at the same time, learn from other contributors about groups and musicians I was not even aware of. This is an awesome thing to be involved in.
forbidinjustice (Justice)

I hail from Fort Hood, Texas USA. I began playing guitar at the age of fifteen, and play many other instruments as well, specifically focused on keyboard (synth). I am also an educator of music and music theory.
I am into most all styles of metal from death and Viking metal all the way to my preferred style, power metal and melodic death.
My favourite musicians of all time are Lance King, Vitalij Kuprij, Jon Schaffer, Michael Romeo, Mathew Barlow, Richard Andersson, Jens Johansson, John West, Jani Liimatainen, Pasi Hiltula, Timo Kotipelto, D.C. Cooper, Alex Staropoli, Luca Turilli, and Jordan Rudess. They help to pave a path for the continued development of my musical mind, and provide musical (and sometimes personal) support and guidance. Nothing can eclipse my appreciation for the contributions of such talented and dedicated musicians.
If there is any way that I may be able to help you, please contact me.
