Excellent female-fronted metal band. Kimberly Goss is a terrific singer with a powerful and rough voice. She was a background singer for Therion and ex-keyboard player for Dimmu Borgir. The idea of forming a female fronted band, putting aside the operatic elements, and bringing back the style of singers such as Doro Pesch, became a reality when Kimberly moved to Sweden and started working with Jesper Strömblad (In Flames).

Sinergy's first two albums were melodic heavy metal with a lot of 80's and early 90's metal, giving some power metal hints here and there. Their last album is very similar to Children of Bodom's style which btw was their best release without a doubt, plain "in your face" attitude.
