Valley´s Eve is yet another german power/prog metal band. They have a style that borders on metal and sometimes sees them referred to as a prog metal band. The band was formed in 1993 but didn't find the right singer until 1995, when Greek-born vocalist Roberto Dimitri Liapakis joined them. "Deception Of Pain", IMO their most interesting work, is a concept album comprised of twelve chapters dealing with the phenomena of suicide. It is based upon a book written by an American psychiatrist who interviewed persons who had failed suicide attempts.
Their singer and bass player have somewhat relegated this band to a side project due to the success of their other band, Mystic Prophecy.
