Band: Timescape

Timescape are firmly entrenched in the Dream Theater school of prog metal, although they do mix it up by incorporating elements of other styles at times. While the music is excellent, the vocals are pretty weak. Mikael's range is very limited and when he tries to extend beyond it, the results aren't what I would call enjoyable. Still, most of the time he is decent enough to enjoy the excellent music.
Last I heard, sometime in early 2003, Timescape had recruited a new vocalist and were working on a new CD. The lack of updates since then leaves the future of the band in question.
