Band: Powermad
Location:
Status:
Powermad have the distinction of releasing the only promo CD I would ever want to own. Their debut EP was released on CD only as a promo, and it is extremely rare. Good thrash is on display on both efforts. "Absolute Power" isn't too hard to find in used CD stores and on ebay, and I'd recommend it to all thrash fans. Also noteworthy is the fact that the band was featured in the movie "Wild at Heart" playing the song "Slaughterhouse". I haven't seen the movie; I've just read about that fact.
Having disbanded in the early 90s, Powermad decided to reform in 2007 to play some festivals and work on new recordings.
