Serdce (originally known as Cor, which is Latin for 'heart') is an excellent technical death metal band from Belarus. Their drummer plays the fastest blastbeats I've ever heard. Normally, blastbeats annoy me, but he somehow plays them with groove. Excellent stuff.
It's pretty difficult to find their CDs outside of Belarus, but that seems to be changing, ableit slowly. They are currently working on a new album, tenatively titled "Alchemy of Harmony", in which they say the jazz fusion influence will be stronger. No released date planned, as of yet.
