Exciter is a speedy thrash metal band whose origins go back to the late 70s. When the thrash boom hit, Exciter quickly adapted the style and found themselves attached to Megaforce, for whom they made a few worthwhile releases including Long Live the Loud. At the end of the 80s the band faded away without ever actually splitting up and has issued more albums in recent years with little variation to their early sound.
