Meldrum was an aggressively heavy metal band formed by ex-Phantom Blue guitarist Michelle Meldrum in Sweden following her marriage to Europe's John Norum. After the second album she moved back to the US and built a completely new line-up in early 2008. In April the group began working on a new album but Meldrum slipped into a coma and died on May 21 from a cyst on her brainstem.
