Band: Entombed

Entombed is simply one of the best heavy metal bands of all time. One of the pioneering Europeans death metal bands, all of their albums are excellent. The band crossed bottom-heavy rock groove with death metal from the third album onwards; the 'Same Difference' album saw them cast off their metal guise for a polished, commercial rock release but the albums since then have seen Entombed return to form. 'Morning Star' is a masterpiece and the albums on either side have a gritty, punkish aspect to their sound.
